Abstract

Studies on the efficacy of seven insecticides tested against the larvae of Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess) under laboratory condition feeding on tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) and French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) hosts revealed that in both the hosts the combination product Anaconda 505 i.e., Chlorphyriphos 50% + cypermethrin 5% (65.42% mean larval mortality) proved to be the best performance followed by trizophos (43.98%).
