Study of the correlations in the biparental progenies and FSbulk population of die cross NKD1110 x Gowri in sesame revealed that many new significant correlations were recorded in the biparental progenies, and 11 significant positive correlations of FSshifted to 40 significant positive in the biparental progenies. The traits capsules per plant, biological yield, harvest index and test weight should be given due weightage in the selection programme of sesame.
