A laboratory experiment was conducted with four levels of Phosphorus i.e. 0, 50, 100 and 150 mg P kg−1 soil to study the periodical changes in the extractability of Phosphorus in normal, Ni and Cr polluted soils. The Olsen's, extractable P was increased significantly and subsequently with increasing levels of applied P in all the three type of soils at all the periods of incubation. However, it decreased significantly with increasing period of incubation in presence of applied P in all the three type of soils but the magnitude of decrease was highest in Cr polluted soil and the least in normal soil.
