In the study twenty-one durum wheat genotypes were selected and classified into early, intermediate and late groups and were evaluated for seven characters. The values of GCV and PCV were lower in all the maturity groups for days to ear emergence, days to maturity and vegetative period, but were higher in early group for grain filling period and grain filling index and in intermediate group for 100-grain weight and grain yield per plant. Similar was the trend for estimates of heritability and getietic advance. In few instances, the genotypic correlations between the traits were shifted from non-significant in late group to significant in either intermediate or early group. In some cases, strength of correlation was enhanced in early group when compared with late group. Grain filling period had no association with grain yield per plant in all maturity groups.
