Abstract

A field experiment was conducted on loamy sand soils at Bikaner (Rajasthan) during 2003–2004. Foliar application of ferrous sulphate and borax at pea stage @ 0.6 per cent produced maximum average fruit weight, fruit length, fruit breadth, pulp weight, stone weight, pulp to stone weight ratio, fruit yield and net returns and benefit cost ratio of ber than the control and 0.3 per cent spray of ber.
