Response of Toria varieties to fertilizer levels

Abstract

The data from the experiments conducted during Rabi 2005–06 and 2006–07 at Central Research Station, OUAT, Bhubaneswar revealed that seed yield and yield attributing traits were drastically and gradually reduced when percentage of fertility level reduced and increased respectively, but substantially increased at 100% (RF) fertility level. Among four varieties tested in two seasons, JD-6 recorded highest seed yield followed by PT 303 which was 12% more than the rest varieties. Similarly at 100% fertility level the seed yield and yield attributing traits increased 39% more than the 75% and 50% fertility level and also increased 2.5% more than 125% fertility level.
