Abstract

Three mulberry genotypes viz., S13, M5 and Berhampur local commonly grown by sericulture farmers of Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh were tested for their relative resistance to leaf spot disease caused by Botryodiplodia theobromae. Of the three genotypes evalnated S13 variety was found resistant, M5 variety was moderately resistant and Berhampur local was highly susceptible to the disease. Leaf-spot disease of mulberry was found to be more prevalent in rainy season than in summer and winter ones.
