Application of Bio-Fertilizers For Quality Seedling Production of Teak (Tectona Grandis)
Abstract
Tectona grandis seedlings varied in their response to inoculation with different microbial bio-fertilizers and their combinations. Inoculation of bio-fertilizers increased the seedling quality and seedling growth in Tectona grandis. The growth response produced by VAM (Glomus fasiculatum), Azospirillum brasilense and Phosphobacterium (Bacillus megaterium var. phosphaticum) in Tectona grandis was the best and inoculation of these combined microorganisms can be useful for producing elite teak seedlings in nurseries.
