Knowledge Level Of Soybean Frontline Demonstrator Farmers

Present study was carried out by selecting 73 demonstrator and 70 non-demonstrator farmers from 14 villages in the jurisdiction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Karda of Washim district in Maharashtra state. The demonstrator farmers were found to be significantly higher in knowledge of soybean production technology. Regarding relational analysis, the demonstrator farmers' land holding, socio-economic status, sources of information and extension contact were found to be positively and significantly related with the knowledge of soybean production technology; while in case of non-demonstrator farmers, land holding, socio-economic status and extension contact were positively and significantly related with the knowledge of soybean production technology.
