In order to meet the changing situation of agriculture in the face of globalization, fiscal deficit etc. India has introduced extension reforms through Agricultural Technology Management Agencies (ATMAs). Under ATMA, extension personnel's role is to act as facilitators. For that purpose we need research based information for developing effective facilitators. Keeping this in view, the present investigation was undertaken in the state of Uttarakhand with extension personnel. For the purpose of the study, a knowledge test was developed. The study revealed that most of the extension personnel had low level of knowledge on facilitation skills. It was found that age and service experience had negative but significant relationship with knowledge level of extension personnel on facilitation skills. Positive and significant correlations were observed between educational qualification, awareness about andrgogy and group dynamics; and knowledge of extension personnel on facilitation skills.
