Seeds of Jatropha curcas L. were stored in different storage containers i.e. muslin cloth bags, plastic bags, gunny bags under three different temperatures Viz. at room temperatures (26.33°C), 20°C and 10°C. Initially the data were recorded after one month of storage i.e. in February 2008 and thereafter; the germination per cent, viability per cent and moisture content were recorded at 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th months of storage duration. The seeds stored at temperature 10°C in plastic bag significantly influenced the germination percentage, viability per cent and moisture content of Jatropha seeds even after 12 month storage period which was followed by 20°C in muslin cloth bag and at room temperature in gunny bags.
