Four fungi namely, Tricoderma harzianum, T. viride, Gliocladium viren and Aspergillus ochraceous were evaluated as soil and seed treatment against Meloidogyne incognita in okra. Among all the fungi, Trichocheine harzianum as seed treatment was found to be the most effective in increasing the plant growth and in reducing the nematode multiplication at all the doses. As soil treatment, T. harzianum, was the most effective fungus in reducing nematode multiplication followed by T. viride, Gliocladium virens, Aspergillus ochraceous. All the fungi gave better results at the highest dose (15g/kg soil).
