Abstract

Effects of a uniform electric field on orientation of director of cholesteric liquid crystal lying at rest between two infinite coaxial circular cylinders acting along the common axis of cylinders have been examined in this paper. The governing differential equation is then obtained and solved numerically by Taylor series approximation method and the results have been interpreted graphically.
