Integrated Security for Mobile Ad Hoc Network

This paper is concerned with providing integrated security in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET). MANET is lack in security under the corners of data level security providing and secure data exchange therefore the issues of authentication, key distribution, and intrusion detection requires different methods, which are discussed in this paper. Traditional authentication, key distribution, and intrusion detection methods are often too inefficient to be used in resource-constrained devices in MANET. We propose to combine efficient techniques from Authenticated Key Exchange and a Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) based Intrusion detection.Both the model intergraded using threshold cryptography.
