Proposed network design and its implementation plan: A case study of HPTU campus

In the ever-evolving digital world, the Government of India has taken steps to improve the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure in academic institutions. The proposed campus network backbone and its implementation plan for the Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is a crucial step towards achieving this goal. The implementation of a robust campus network infrastructure allows for the integration of new technologies and applications, such as Data Centre, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and campus Wi-Fi, which can greatly enhance the efficiency and productivity of the institutions. This study presents the proposed campus network backbone and its implementation plan.
