Abstract

The author has designed and developed two innovative experiments to teach Number Systems to different bases and to teach conversion of analog signals to digital from first principles. These have been demonstrated at various places in the country at conventions & seminars. Educational video program on Digital Electronics is being produced at Educational multi Media Research Center (EMMRC - Ahmadabad) for educational telecast. In two episodes of about 30 minutes each we have actually performed above two experiments and included those in the video programs. These two video programs were shown to about 150 participants of INSPIRE program (10th standard toppers of the board) and their responses after the video screening were obtained. These programs were shown to M.Sc. Electronics students who already have studied the subject and their responses after the video screening were obtained. These programs were shown to M.Sc. Physics (electronics Specialization) students their responses before and after screening of the programs were obtained. The responses of above students have been analyzed. The findings are discussed here.
