Abstract

The cornerstone of paediatric dental practice is the successful functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of a child with advanced carious lesion. This paper discusses one type of fixed anterior esthetic appliance and removable bilateral space maintainer in a 5-year-old child. Parental desire is the most decisive factor for the placement of an anterior esthetic appliance.
