To fulfil the increasing demands of young patients is becoming more challenging for the orthodontists. With the increase in awareness about the esthetics, it has become necessary to analyse all the dental and gingival problems to attain healthy and stable results.
An 18 year old girl with retained deciduous and missing permanent teeth was treated by a multidisciplinary approach.
Levelling and alignment and occlusion was achieved by fixed orthodontic treatment and esthetic requirements were fulfilled by composite build ups.
The case report demonstrates how different departments of dentistry can be involved all together to meet the patient's expectations.
