Changing patterns of teething in infancy: A virtual challenge?

Abstract

Although teething is a normal physiological process, there are symptoms that are believed to be associated with teething problems. It is regarded as a significant landmark in developmental process of a child. Majority of mothers believed that fever and diarrhea were signs of teething and did not require medical attention. The article aims to describe the teething, associated myths and facts and its changing trend in infancy.
