Rehabilitation of Kennedy's Class III Maxillary arch with Cast Partial Denture using Equipoise Clasp for Diastema maintenance in a Young Patient- A case report

Removable partial dentures (RPDs) are the broadly accepted treatment of choice for most of the cases of partial edentulism since they are least invasive as well as financially feasible treatment modality. Treatment planning for partially edentulous patients requires consideration of both aesthetics and masticatory function. A functional and esthetic prosthesis is more likely to keep the patient motivated to continue its usage. Considerable attention should be paid during treatment planning to restore function, phonetics, and aesthetics while maintaining its long-term benefits.This case reports describes the fabrication of cast partial denture using a special clasp design for diastema maintenance in a young patient for esthetics and function.
