During pandemic Covid-19, health professionals encountered a huge number of Mucormycosis cases at an alarming rate. The disease begins in the nose and paranasal sinuses and due to its aggressive nature, it can affect the ocular, orbital and even intracranial structures. It leads to acquired maxillary defects thereby affecting the patient's quality of life. This case report describes a novel technique where a patient with acquired maxillary defect was prosthetically rehabilitated with obturator and LEGO® blocks retained removable maxillary posterior dental segments. These segments can be easily selfattached by the patient to the obturator plate only while eating resulting in a prosthesis that is light weight, provides more room for tongue and offers less vertical forces.
