Darier's Disease (DD), also known as Darier-White disease, is a rare autosomal dominant genodermatosis characterized by greasy, warty papules predominantly in seborrheic areas of the skin. First described by Ferdinand-Jean Darier in 1889, DD is associated with mutations in the ATP2A2 gene encoding the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase type 2 (SERCA2). This review provides a detailed overview of the etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and management of Darier's Disease, alongside recent advancements in genetic research and treatment strategies.
