The metastasis to oral and maxillofacial region is rare, comprising only 1% of all oral malignancies. The primary sites responsible for oral metastasis are the tumors of lung, kidney, breast, bone and liver. Metastasis to gingiva is quite unusual. To the best of knowledge of the authors, no other case of carcinoma lung with metastasis to both skin and gingiva together has been reported till date. We are reporting a case of a 48 year old man with a previously undiagnosed carcinoma lung which had developed metastasis to maxillary gingiva and facial skin. This case report emphasizes that metastatic lung cancer to gingiva even though rare, should be included in the differential diagnosis of gingival masses.
