Abstract

Mandibular premolars are referred to as “Enigma of endodontists”. This is typically true of mandibular second premolar whose root canal anatomy can be sometimes so aberrant that it requires careful clinical assessment with prerequisite detailed knowledge of root canal anatomy and awareness of the configuration of the root canal. The occurrence of three canals with three separate foramina in mandibular premolars is very rare. This article reports and discusses clinical management of mandibular premolar with three canals with three separate foramina.
