Abstract

Among the various odentogenic lesions of the Jaw, Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour is though not a common but one of the most significant benign lesions. Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor is a rare tumor comprising of 1% of all jaw tumors,it is benign (hamartomatous), noninvasive lesion with slow but progressive growth. Oral cavity not only provides oral surgeons a suitable platform to study the wide spectrum of clinical behavior of AOT ranging from nonaggressive to aggressive variant, thereby not only helping in its quick diagnosis but also in its prompt treatment. Thus through this paper we have tried to bring to light the striking features of Adenomatoid Odentogenic Tumor of maxillary anterior region.
