Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumour (AOT) is a rare distinct odontogenic tumour that is exclusively odontogenic epithelium in origin which accounts for about 3–7% of all odontogenic tumours. It is an uncommon benign (hamartomatous), noninvasive lesion with slow but progressive growth, affecting young individuals, with a female predilection and mainly occurs in the second decade. It is located more often in the maxilla and in most cases associated with an unerupted permanent tooth. There are three variants of AOT: follicular, extrafollicular and peripheral. Treatment is conservative surgical excision and the prognosis is excellent. We present a rare case of an AOT associated with right mandibular canine in a 13 year old male patient. Adequate secondary healing was achieved. The patient has been followed-up over 2 years without recurrence.
