E-learning has grown tremendously over the past several years as technology has been integrated into education and training. ‘E-Learning’ may be defined as instruction delivered electronically via the Internet, Intranets, or multimedia platforms.
The aim of the study was to assess the attitude of students and teachers toward online classes.
A web-based descriptive sursurvey study containing objective questions was prepared separately for students (16 survey instrument) and teachers (19 survey instrument).The study sample constituted of 82 students and 19 teachers undergoing online studies. The survey instrument was distributed among all the students and teachers using social media platform (WhatsApp and messages). It required 5 to 6 minutes to complete the survey. Chi square and Fisher test was used to investigate the level of association among variables at the significance level of p<0.05.
It was: foutnd that majority of students and teachershad favourable attitude towards online classes.
Online classes are useful as it is an upgradation of education system but it entails limitation related to tecnological efficiency and skills of users.
