A catalogue of species added to the flora of Marathwada

Flora of Marathwada was published in 1998 enumerating 1645 species and 73 infraspecific categories belonging to 746 genera and 155 families. After 14 years, a number of species have been added. All these publications have added seven families, 37 genera, 96 species and one infraspecific categories to the Flora of Marathwada. As this valuable information is scattered, it was found necessary to compile the information in the form of catalogue. This catalogue is a list of taxa with original citation of publication. The updated statistical analysis for flora of the region reports 1741 species and 76 infraspecific categories belonging to 783 genera and 162 families.
