Abstract

Performance of twelve improved tomato varieties was studied at the Horticulture Research Station, Sub-Centre, Department of Horticulture, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani during the Rabi season of 2009–10. Variety ATL-1-19 produced significantly higher yield with earliest fifty per cent flowering over the check. Variety VR-35 produced tallest plants with minimum incidence of wilt. HDT-294 produced fruits with highest pericarp thickness with least fruits affected by borer. Among the varieties tested varieties ATL-1-19 and VR-35 produced greater output.
