A comparative study on physico-chemical traits of twelve tomato varieties was undertaken at Horticulture Research Station Sub-Centre, Department of Horticulture, Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani during the Rabi season of 2009–10. Among them variety HDT-294 produced heavy fruits (56.50 g) and with highest diameter (5.74 cm). Variety VTG-85 showed highest thickness of pericarp (5.2 mm). Variety PAU-2374 produced fruits with highest TSS (4.7 0Bx) and ascorbic acid content (58 mg/100g) while the fruits of variety PAU-2371 had highest acidity (44.30%).
