Abstract

Seed germination, Plumule length, radical length, and polyembryony were significantly affected due to the treatment of Gibbrelic acid. Maximum plumule length was recorded at 700 ppm of GA3, while GA3 @ 500 ppm recorded significantly higher seed germination and polyembryony. The numbers of germinated embryos per seed were found to be positively correlated with the concentration of GA3 With the increase in concentration of GA3, length of radical also increased, But it did not affected significantly radical length of Cleopatra, Sour Orange and Karna Khatta.
