Abstract

Laboratory experiment was carried out to study the sub lethal effect of seven insecticides against Cryptolaemus montrouzeiri Mulsant. Acute toxicity studies on adults revealed that dichlorvas and buprofezin to be the safest insecticides followed by imidacloprid, acetamiprid and azadirachtin (LC50 range of 0.0589 to 0.0235%). Fipronil and carbaryl were highly detrimental with least LC50 values.
