Abstract

Among the seed pelleting treatments ZnSO4 (300 mg/kg of seeds) recorded significantly higher field emergence (91%), plant height (177.4 cm at harvest), number of leaves (134 at 60 DAS), less number of days to flower initiation (32), less number of days to 50 per cent flowering (37), higher number of capsules per plant (91), number of seeds per capsule (43), seed yield per plant (11.3 g), seed yield per plot (926 g), seed yield per hectare (10.3 q) and 1000 seed weight (3.30 g).
