Abstract

Forty seven Trichoderma strains were isolated from soils of Karnataka. Among them Z5TH8 (EDZ), Z7TV5 (STZ) and Z10TVS10 (CZ) showed antagonism against soil borne fungal pathogens. At neutral pH (7.0) and 25°C maximum population of Z5TH8, Z7TV5 and Z10TVS10 was noticed in laterite, red and black soils.
