The data pertaining to 1797 growth records of Sangamneri goat kids from 17 villages of Ahmednagar and Pune districts were subjected to the least squares analysis. The body weight of Sangamneri kids at 6 months of age under field condition was 13.93 ± 0.14 kg. The year, season of birth, and sex significantly affected body weight. However, type of birth (single, twins, triple) and cluster of villages had non-significant influence on body weight.
