Abstract

Seven species of lignicolous ascomycetes. Diatrype amorphae, Diatrypoidiella lignicola, Hypoxylon cohaerens, Hypoxylon fuscum, Hypoxylon investiens, Rosellinia arcuata and Rosellinia punicae belonging to pyrenomycetes were collected from different localities in Ahmednagar district. All species, except H. investiens are new to Maharashtra state. The Specimens are deposited in Department of Botany (Research centre, P.V.P. College, Pravaranagar (Loni).
