Analysis of variance indicated significant difference among the genotypes for various traits. Estimation of heterosis for different yieldcontributing characters indicated that out of thirty hybrids studied, KCMS 45A ×MSN 91, KCMS 45A × KMR 3, KCMS 46A × Thanu and KCMS 46A × MSN 36 were identified as promising with maximum heterosis for grain yield.
