Abstract

In ratoon crop of sugarcane, number of millable canes ha-1 and cane yield (t ha-1) were significantly higher due to the treatment T3 i.e. atrazine @ 2.0, kg a.i. ha-1 + 2, 4-D @ 1 kg a.i. ha-1 at 45 DARI and remained at par with the treatment of three hoeings at 1st, 4th and 7th week after ratoon initiation, atrazine @2.0 kg a.i. ha−1 as pre.emerg.+ one hoeing at 45 DARI and glyphosate @ 0.4 kg a.i. ha−1 at 3 weeks stage as directed spray + one hoeing at 60 DARI.
