Abstract

Application of pendimethalin (1 kg/ha pre-emergence) + 1 HW + IC at 40 DAS was found most effective in reducing weed population. It was closely followed by oxyfluorfen 0.18 kg/ha pre-emergence + 1 HW + IC at 40 DAS. Pendimethalin 1 kg/ha pre-emergence + 1 HW + IC at 40 DAS and oxyfluorfen 0.18 kg/ha pre-emergence + 1 HW + IC at 40 DAS were found equally effective. Two hand weedings at 20 and 40 DAS was found statistically at par with chemical treatments.
