Leaf spot caused by Cercospora beticola Sacc. is major foliar pathogen causing quality and quantity loss in tropical sugarbeet. The efficacy of eight selected fungicides and seven plant extracts were tested against the pathogen by Poisoned Food Technique. Except chlorothalonil all other fungicides and extract of Allium sp. (Zimmu) recorded 100 percent inhibition.
