Pomegranate is one among the major fruit crops of arid zone. Cultural studies of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, causal agent of anthracnose of pomegranate on different solid media showed that potato dextrose agar and oat meal agar were good for growth and sporulation. When the fungus was grown in liquid medium there was increase in growth upto twelve days of incubation and there was decrease in growth for thirteenth day onwords. Temperature requirement of the fungus was found 30°C where good growth was observed.
