Abstract

There was significant variation in fruit weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, total soluble solids, acidity, ascorbic acid and total sugar among the different pruning and fertilizer treatments. Quality characteristics of guava fruits were found superior in one leaf pair pruning with 15 kg organic manure/tree/year as compared to the un-pruned (control) during winter season.
