Abstract

Among the Genotypes, KMR-3 recorded significantly higher germination (83.33%) at the end of storage period of 365 days and lower electrical conductivity (274.3dSm−1), KRH-2 recorded higher seedling vigour index (1390) and seedling dry weight (118.83), seeds treated with vitavax (carboxin + thiram) @ 3 g kg−1 recorded significantly higher germination (83.36%),seedling vigour index (1282),seedling dry weight(114.9) and lower electrical conductivity (287.2 dSm−1). The seeds stored in polythene bag recorded higher germination (83.46%), seedling vigour index (1258), seedling dry weight(115.3) and lower electrical conductivity (288.65 dSm−1) as compared to control.
