The birds fed with soybean + maize (30: 70) showed higher carcass weight. The dressing percentage was not much affected by the nature of feed. The live weight, dressed weight and eviscerated weight of chicks of soybean + maize group were slightly higher than those of broiler mash + maize group, however, the differences among the treatments were not found to be statistically significant (P<0.05).
