Exposure of wild sensitive isolate of Pythium aphanidermatum (Pa-3) to aliette, continuously for 8 successive passages increased resistance in both in vitro and in vivo conditions. During in vitro studies, when aliette was altered with blitox, there was complete inhibition of the pathogen at IInd passage, and at IIIrd passage in case of dhanuka and carbendazim. During in vivo conditions, when aliette was altered with blitox, disease was completely managed at IInd passage, at Vth passage in case of dhanuka and VIIth in case of carbendazim. There was complete inhibition of the pathogen at IInd passage in case of dhanuka and blitox and at passage IIIrd in case of carbendazim. The results are of great importance in management of Damping off of radish.
