Abstract

Field experiment was conducted to study the impact of differentproduction factors on yield of groundnut during kharif season of 2010. Pod yield was significantly influenced by seed treatment with Thiram, recommended spacing, recommended dose of fertilizer, pre-emergence weedicide application, protective irrigation, foliar application of FeSO4 + citric acid and treatment with Trichoderma. Higher pod yield of 1344 kg ha−1 andhaulm yield of 2153 kg ha−1 was obtained due to the combination of all production factors. The contribution of different production factors were 2.23% with seed treatment, 33.22% with 60 cm spacing, 17.29% with recommended dose of fertilizer, 16.76% with weed management practices, 16.62% with protective irrigation, 4.47% with foliar spray of FeSO4 + citric acid.
