Abstract

Prolonged developmental period of C. carnea larvae was observed on mustard aphid compare to Corcyra eggs, along with prolonged pupal period. The preying capacity of C. carnea larvae was 12.31, 79.61 and 82.18 aphids during 1st 2nd and 3rd larval instars respectively, and 174.11 during entire larval period.
