Abstract

Out of the 36 genotype screened none of the genotypes were found to be highly susceptible while 3 were highly resistant, 14 resistant, 14 moderately resistant and 5 were susceptible. Parental genotypes DARL-404, PB-89 and VP-266 and cross combinations (F1) PSM-3 x DARL-404, Palam Priya x PSM-3 and VL-7 x PB-89 were found to be resistant. These lines/cross combinations can be used as source for disease resistance
