Abstract

The seeds obtained from pods, developed 25 days after anthesis recorded maximum dry weight, vigour index and 100-seed weight. Early or delayed harvesting recorded inferior quality of seeds. The variety Asha was found to be most responsive for physiological maturity at 25 days after anthesis.
