The growth attributing characters like plant height, number of leaves, number of branches plant−1, dry matter plant−1 and leaf area increased significantly due to the application of foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering over other treatments. However it wasat par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering. Total flower drop plant−1 was significantly lowest in foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering.However it was on par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering.Yield contributing characters viz., number of pods plant−1, number of seeds pod−1, test weight (g), grain and straw yield increased significantlydue to application of foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering. However it was on par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering.
