Effect of foliar spray of nutrients on growth, yield and quality of summer greengram

The growth attributing characters like plant height, number of leaves, number of branches plant⁻¹, dry matter plant⁻¹ and leaf area increased significantly due to the application of foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering over other treatments. However it wasat par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering. Total flower drop plant⁻¹ was significantly lowest in foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering.However it was on par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering.Yield contributing characters viz., number of pods plant⁻¹, number of seeds pod⁻¹, test weight (g), grain and straw yield increased significantlydue to application of foliar spray of 1.5% urea + 1.5% DAP before flowering. However it was on par with foliar spray of 1% urea + 1% DAP before flowering.
